Meet the Founder
Tony Parchment
Tony Parchment is an experienced entrepreneur with over 18 years starting and growing companies. Before Upstart Connectors, Tony worked in the information technology consulting industry for more than 25 years. In 1998, he co-founded Buchanan & Edwards, an IT consulting firm serving the federal government. He started Upstart Connectors to coalesce resources to enable those with talent and determination to achieve their life goals.
Meet the Director of Curriculum Development
Joelle Daguilh
Joelle is a seven-year educator fighting to bring equity to the classroom. She attended Christopher Newport University where she obtained a B.A. in Political Science and a Master’s in Education from Penn State University. Joelle began her teaching career as special educator with Teach For America in 2013. Since then, she has made it her life’s mission to eradicate the achievement gap that exists in society between the wealthy and the disadvantaged, the various race groups, and students with disabilities. She is passionate about working with and motivating a new population of students to reach their potential, achieve their dreams/goals, and defy statistics. She is an advocate for social change.
